On the Mend

This summer has been a whirl wind for us. And it hasn't slowed down at all!
After many arguments and even more prayers and time on our knees, Jeff and I decided that we needed to separate. The kids and I are living in Nevada and Jeff and Rissa are still at the house. Jeff and I are "dating" again and trying to rekindle the flame that years of this and that have almost completely extinguished. Individually, here is an update...
Jeff is in a Master's program through William Penn and looking for a job.
I am still at the YMCA part-time and I am now a full-time student at DMACC in the Fitness and Sports Management Program
Rissa is a Freshman in high school and trying to figure it all out for herself.
Tate is a 2nd grader and is working hard on reading and writing.
Brighton is a Preschooler and goes half days for 5 days a week.
Savanah is growing so fast and talking more and more.
We are a family that loves each other very much and we are trying to keep that eternal perspective so we can once again all be under one roof!

Savanah's Birthday Party

On Savanah's birthday we went to Chuck E. Cheese like we do for all the kids birthdays and we had a ball.



Then on Saturday we had her birthday party with family and friends. She had a great time and got a play kitchen, dishes, food, and accessories. She also got a Pooh riding toy that lights up and the characters pop up, it's so cute and she loves it!

Savanah's 1 Year Pictures

Today was Savanah's 1st birthday and it was a busy one! First we went to work, then we went to get her pictures taken, then we ate Burger King, then we played at the mall play area, then we had a pretzel for a snack, then she built a poodle puppy we named Cupcake that sings Happy Birthday and Savanah dances to it, then we went to Chuck E. Cheese, and then we went to sleep! Here are her 1 year pictures. Enjoy!
